TARAWEEH 8 RAKAT YA 20 RAKAT?

HADITH
Hazrat Arbaz bin Sariya رضي الله تعالى عنهse marwi se hai ki Huzoor ﷺ ne farmaya unqareeb mere baad tum shadeed ikhtelafat dekhoge aise waqt mein tum Meri aur Khulfa e Rasheeden ki sunnat par mazbooti se amal karna. [ SUNAN IBN E MAJAH, BAAB: ITEEBA E SUNNATIL KHULFA IR RASHEEDEN]

Jumhoor sahaba, Fuqha e Tabaieen, Aimah e Mujtahideen aur Musalmano mein Salaf aur Khalaf ka tarika 20 Rakat Taraweeh padhna hai aur usse kam yaani 8 rakat padhne ko lazim qarar dena in sab ki mukhalifat hai.

Quran e Majeed mein hai:

” Aur jo shaks hidayat ke zahir hone ke baad Rasool ki mukhalifat kare aur ( Tamam) Musalmaano ke raaste ke khilaf chale to hum use usi taraf fer denge jis taraf woh fira aur usko jahanum mein dakhil kar denge aur woh kaisa bura thikana hai. [SURAH NISA, AYAT NO 115]

AITERAAZ NO 1:

JAWAB:
Is hadith mein jis Namaz ka zikr hai us se muraad Tahajjud hai. Us se Namaz e Taraweeh murad nahi. Namaz e Taraweeh murad na hone ke darj e zeel dalaail hai:

1. Is hadith ko Imam Muslim ne Baab Salatul Lail mein zikr kiya hai aur baaz jagaho mein Baabo Qiyam ul Lail ke tehet mazkoor hai. Agarche Namaz e Tarweeh Salat ul Lail hai aur Usse bhi Qiyam ul Lail kaha gaya hai lekin Namaz e Taraweeh Namaz e Tahajjud ke alaawa hai. Namaz e Tahajjud Gair e Ramzan mein bhi padhi jaati hai. Agar Hazrat Ayesha رضي الله عنهاke farmane ka ye matlab hai ki Huzoor ﷺ Ramzan aur Gair e Ramzan mein 11 rakat se zyada taraweeh aur Witr Namaz Nahi padhte the to kya Gair e Ramzan mein bhi Taraweeh padhte the? Gair e Ramzan mein Taraweeh ki Namaz nahi. Is se maloom huwa ki 11 rakat mein 8 rakat taraweeh ki nahi balki tahajjud ki hoti thi aur 3 witr ki.

2. Is se muraad agar Namaz e Taraweeh hai to Sawal ye hai ki Witr ki kitni rakat hai? Agar 3 hai to ye Ahle Hadees wahabi mazhab ke khilaaf hai. Kyuki unke nazdeek witr 1 rakat hai. Agar witr 1 rakat hai to Taraweeh ki 10 rakat huwi, Na ki 8 rakat. Haanlanki Ahle Hadees is riwayat se 8 rakat taraweeh sabit karna chahte hai.

3. Gair Muqallid agar Sahih Bukhari ki is riwayat ko Taraweeh par mahmool karte hai aur jaisa ki unka dawa hai ki Tahajjud aur Taraweeh ek hi namaz hai sirf Naam ka farq hai to unse sawal ye hai ki Sahih Bukhari hi mein Hazrat Masrooq se riwayat hai ki Huzoor ﷺ ki Raat ki Namaz ke mutaliq Hazrat Ayesha رضي الله عنها se unhone dariyaft farmaya to unhone farmaya ki 7 rakat thi (3 witr ke saath). Kya Gair Muqallid hazraat Tarweeh ki 8 rakat se kam yaani 4 rakat ko bhi Sunnat samajhte hai? Kya woh 4 rakat taraweeh padhne ke qail hai ya nahi? Agar nahi to kyu? Sahih Bukhari ki hadith se to 4 rakat aur 3 witr yaani 7 rakat bhi sabit hai. Gair Muqallid Hazraat ko 4 rakat taraweeh ko bhi sahih kehna lazim hoga.

4. Huzoor ﷺ ke Qiyam ul Lail aur Salatul Lail ke mutaliq Hazrat Ayesha رضي الله عنها ki is riwayat se murad agar Namaz e Taraweeh bhi ho to bhi Sanadan ye riwayat Sahih hone ke bawajood Amalan Jumhoor Sahaba wa Jumhoor Ulema balki khud Imam Malik رضي الله تعالى عنه ke mazhab ke khilaaf hone ki wajeh se Na-Maqbool hai. Chunaanche Imam Ibne Abdul Barr Maliki ne 20 rakat taraweeh ki riwayat ko zikr karne ke baad ye likha hai: ” Ye tamaam riwayaat is baat ki shahid hai ki 11 rakat ki riwayat wehem aur galat hai. Aur Sahih ye hai ki 3 rakat ya 1 rakat witr ke alaawa 20 rakat taraweeh hai. Wallahu Alam [ AL ISTIZKAR, 2/ 68]

Ye riwayat sanadan Sahih hai. Is se maloom huwa ki Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنهbhi 8 rakat taraweeh ke qail the.

JAWAAB:
Muwatta Imam Malik ke hawale se jo riwayat zikr ki gayi woh amalan matrook hai. Iske matrook hone ki darj e zeel wajeh hai:

1. Saib bin Yazeed رضي الله تعالى عنه se is riwayat ko naql karne wale 3 raawi hai. Muhammad bin Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Yazeed al Kandi, Yazeed bin Khusaifa, Haaris bin Abdul Rehman bin Abi Zabab. In teeno raawiyo mein se Sirf Muhammad bin Yusuf ne 11 rakat zikr ki hai aur 2 raawi Yazeed bin Khusaifa aur Haaris bin Abdur Rehman ne 20 rakat zikr ki hai. Lihaza 11 ki tadaad ko zikr karne mein Muhammad bin Yusuf mutarafid hai.

Yahi Riwayat Imam Abubakr Abdullah bin Muhammad Neshapuri ne Apni kitab ‘Fawaid’ mein zikr ki hai. Is hadith se chand baate maloom huwi.

Is hadith se Maloom Chand Baatein Maloom huwi ke

(a) Jab Ismaail bin Umaiyya رضي الله تعالى عنهne Muhammed bin Yusuf رضي الله تعالى عنهse Sawaal kiya ke Taraaweeh 8 Rakaat hai ya 20 Rakaat ? Toh Muhammed bin Yusuf رضي الله تعالى عنهne Apni Baat ki Taa-id me Yazeed bin Khusaifa ko pesh kiya.

(a) Yazeed bin Khusaifa رضي الله تعالى عنه se Ismaail bin Umaiyya رضي الله تعالى عنه ne Jawaab Suna ke wo (Ibn Khusaifa) Toh 20 Rakaat Kehte hai, (Ghaalib Gumaan Yahi hai ke Ibn Umaiyya ne Jab yeh Baat Muhammed bin Yusuf رضي الله تعالى عنهko Bataayi ke Ibn Khusaifa رضي الله تعالى عنه20 Rakaat Kehte hai, Toh) Muhammed bin Yusuf رضي الله تعالى عنه ne bhi 20 Rakaat ki Taraf Ruju Kiya aur Aakheer me 20 Rakaat Taraaweeh hi bataaya hai, Jaisa ke riwayat me Zikr hai.

(c) Is riwayat se Maloom hota hai ke Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنهne 8 Rakaat ka hukm NAHI, Balke 20 Rakaat Taraaweeh ka Hukm diya tha.

Aur 8 Rakaat waali baat Muhammed bin Yusuf رضي الله تعالى عنهki Galati hai.

3. Imam Abdul Barr ne Muwatta ki is riwayat ke talluq se apni Kitab Al Istizkar mein ye farmaya hai ki 11 rakat ki riwayat wehem aur galat hai aur 20 rakat tarweeh ki riwayat sahih hai.

4. Saib bin Yazeed ki Sahih riwayat mein hai ki Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنه ke zamane mein Sahaba e kiram Ramzan mein 20 rakat taraweeh padhte the. [ AL SUNAN AL SAGEER LIL BAIHIQI, 2/297]

5. Musannaf Abdur Razzaq mein Saaib bin Yazeed se riwayat hai, unhone farmaya ki Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنه ke zamane mein witr ke saath 23 rakat padh kar wapis aate the to Tuloo e Fajr ka waqt qareeb hota tha.

6. Gair Muqallid Ahle Hadees ne Muwatta Imam Malik ki jo hadith pesh ki hai woh Marfu Nahi hai. Balki Sahabi ka qual hai. Aur Gair Muqallido ke usool ke mutabiq Ek sahabi ka qual daleel nahi ban sakta hai. Hafiz Abdul Mannan Noorpuri , Maqalat e Noorpuri, Pg 267 mein Hazrat Abdullah Ibne Umar رضي الله تعالى عنه ke amal aur uske Jawaab ke zeel mein likhte hai ki ” falan riwayat maqoof hai. Abdullah bin Umar رضي الله تعالى عنهka amal hai. Deen mein woh daleel nahi banta. Sahabi chota ho ya bada lekin unki baat aur amal deen mein daleel nahi banegi.”

Isliye Wahabiyi ko chahiye ki woh 8 rakat par Marfu Hadith pesh kare jo Sanadan Sahih, Sareeh aur Gair Muariz ho.

7. Agar isko Sahih tasleem kar liya jaaye ki Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنه ne 11 rakat padhane ka hukm diya tha to ye ehtemaal hai ki ibteda Aap ne 11 rakat padhane ka hukm diya hoga phir baad mein 20 rakat padhane ka hukm diya. Chunaache Baihiqi ne ye likha hai: “Kuch dino tak Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنه ne 11 rakat padhane ka hukm diya phir 20 rakat padhane ka hukm diya. Kyuki Hazrat Saaib bin Yazeed se riwayat hai ki Sahaba e Kiraam Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنه ke Zamane mein 20 rakat padhte the. Yazeed bin Rumaan se riwayat hai ki Sahaba 20 rakat padhate the. Shutair bin Shakl jo Hazrat Ali رضي الله تعالى عنه ke ashaab mein the, logo ko 20 rakat padhate the. Azeem Tabaie Hazrat Suwaid bin Gufala رضي الله تعالى عنه logo ko 20 rakat taraweeh padhate the. MALOOM HUWA KI 20 rakat taraweeh padhna khud Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنه aur Jumhoor Sahaba ka amal tha. 11 rakat ki baaz riwayat sanadan Sahih hone ke bawajood jumhoor Sahaba ka is par amal na hone ki wajeh se woh matrook wa Na- maqbool hai. Jaisa ki Allama Ibne Abdul Bar Maliki ne apni kitab Al Istizkar mein is baat ko zikr kiya hai.

AITERAAZ NO 3
Fiqah e Hanafi ki motabar Kitab Fath ul Qadeer Sharah Hidaya mein hai ki Ramzan mein Witr samait 11 rakat padhna Sunnat hai. Fath ul Qadeer ki ibarat ye hai:

TARJAMA: In sab riwayaat se maloom huwa ki Ramzan ki raat ko witr samait ba-jamat 11 rakat padhna Sunnat hai. Rasulullah ne aisa kiya hai.

JAWAAB: Fath ul Qadeer ki is ibarat se ye samajhna ki Ramzan mein 8 rakat Taraweeh ki Namaz padhna Sunnat hai, bohot badi galat fehmi hai. Sahib e Fath ul Qadeer ne Qiyam ul Lail ka unwaan qayam karke sab se pehle ye likha hai ki Nabi e Kareem ﷺ se raat ki Namaz Ramzan aur Gair e Ramzan mein witr samait 11 rakat se zyada manqool nahi Jaisa ki Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa رضي الله عنها se marwi hai. Huzoor ﷺ ne Ramzan mein chand raato mein witr samait 11 rakat Ba-jamat padhi phir uske farz hone ke andeshe se jamat ke saath nahi padhe. Jaisa ki fath ul Qadeer ki ibarat mein ye mazkoor hai ” فعلھ ثم تر کھ لعزر ” (Phir Huzoor ﷺ ne Uzr ki wajeh se tark farma diya tha). Jab Huzoor ﷺ ne 8 rakat Ba-jamat padhna tark farma diya to 8 rakat padhna Sunnat na raha. Phir jab Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنهka zamana aaya to Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنه ne 20 rakat taraweeh ko Ba-jamat raaij farmaya aur Sahaba e Kiraam ne Huzoor ﷺ ke irshaad (Tum par Meri aur Khulfa e rashideen ki Sunnat par amal karna laazim hai) ke mutabiq 20 rakat padhne par amal kiya aur Daur e Farooqi se ummat ka amal 20 rakat ba-jamat padhne par qayam ho gaya. Lihaza 20 rakat padhna Sunnat hai Na ki 8 rakat. Chunaanche Sahibe Fath ul Qadeer ne mutadid baar 20 rakat padhne ko Sunnat likha hai. Faslo fi Qiyami Shahri ramadan mein 20 rakat ki riwayaat ko naql karne ke baad ye likha: TARJAMA: Mashaikh ke kalam se zaahir hai ki 20 rakat padhna Sunnat hai. Issi mein hai TARJAMA: Haan Muwatta ke mutabiq Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنهke zamane mein 20 rakat padhte the. Phir Ibne Humaam 11 aur 20 wali riwayaat mein tatbeeq ko zikr karte huwe ye likha: TARJAMA: 11 aur 20 rakat ki riwayaat mein tatbeeq ye di gayi hai ki ibtedah mein Maa witr 11 rakat padhi gayi thi phir 20 rakat par hukm sabit ho gaya aur 20 rakat padhna hi Sunnat e Mutawarisa hai. Jab Allama ibne Humaam khud ye farma rahe hai ki 20 rakat padhna sunnat e mutawarisa hai aur 8 rakay wali riwayaat alamlan matrook hai to Ibne Humaam ki ibarat se 8 rakat taraweeh ke masnoon hone ko sabit karna kyu kar durust hoga??

AITERAAZ NO 4: Allama Ali Qari Hanafi ne Apni mashoor kitab Mirqaat al Mafati sharah Mishkaat Al Masabih mein ye likha hai ki Taraweeh ki namaz witr samait 11 rakat sunnat hai.

JAWAAB: Ye galat fehmi hai! Mirqaat al Mafati mein bataur riwaayat Hazrat Ayesha رضي الله عنها ki is riwayat ko zikr kiya gaya hai. Jis mein ye zikr hai ki Huzoor ﷺ Ramzan aur Gair e Ramzan mein raat ko 11 rakat se zyada nahi padhte the. Phir 20 rakat taraweeh wali riwayat ko zikr karne ke baad Apne ye mauqif bhi wazeh farma diya hai ki 20 rakat taraweeh par Sahaba ka ijma hai. Mirqaat al Mafati, jild 3, pg 973, Baab Qiyam e Sheher Ramadan Mein ye alfaaz mazkoor hai: وفی صححي ابن خزيمۃ وابن حبان انھ صلی بھم ثمان رکعات والوتر،لکن اجمع الصحابۃعلی ان التراويح عشرون رکعت  TARJAMA: Sahih Ibne Khuzaima aur Sahih Ibne Hibban mein hai ke Aap ﷺ ne (2 , 3 raate) logo ko witr ke alaawa 8 rakat padhayi lekin Sahaba ne ijma kar liya ki Taraweeh 20 rakat hai.

AITERAAZ NO 5: Fiqah e Hanafi ki Motabar kitab Al Bahrur Raaiq mein hai ki Taraweeh 8 rakat hai.

JAWAAB: Ye bhi galat fehmi hai! motariz ko ye galat fehmi Fath ul Qadeer ki is ibarat ki wajeh se paida huwi hai jiski wazahat humne is qabl (Aiteraaz 3 ke jawab mein) pesh kar di hai. Darasal Ibne Al Humaam ne Ramzan mein Huzoor ﷺ ki in 8 rakat ko Sunnat qaraar diya hai jo Huzoor ﷺ ne 2 3 raate ba-jamat padhi thi. Phir farz hone ke khauf se tark farma di thi. Ye Huzoor ﷺ ki Tahajjud ki Namaz thi jisse Huzoor ﷺ pabandi se Gair Ramzan mein bhi padha karte the. Lekin Namaz e Taraweeh jaise Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنه ne ba-jamat raaij farmaya aur Sahaba ne is par amal kiya woh Namaz 20 rakat thi. Chunaanche Ibne Al Humaam ne isse Sunnat e Mutawarisa likha hai. Yahi baat Sahib e Bahrur Raaiq ne zikr ki hai. Behrur Raaiq balki fiqha e Hanafi ki kisi motabar kitab mein ye nahi hai ki Taraweeh ki namaz 8 rakat hai. Bahrur Raaiq mein likha hai ki 20 rakat taraweeh hai ke qail jumhoor Ummat hai. Bahrur Raaiq ke alfaaz ye hai: وقولھ عشرون رکعۃ بيان لکميتھا وھو قول الجمھر  TARJAMA: Ye Namaz e Taraweeh ki rakat ki ta’daad ka bayan hai ki woh 20 rakat hai. Yahi Jumhoor Ummat ka qual hai. AITERAAZ NO 6: Fiqah e Hanafi ki Motabar kitab Hashiya Al Tahtawi Alaa Durre Mukhtar mein hai ki 8 rakat taraweeh Sunnat hai.

JAWAAB: Hashiya Al Tahtawi mein ye likha hai ki Sahih Sanad se ye baat sabit nahi ki Huzoor ﷺ ne 20 rakat Taraweeh ki Namaz padhayi aur us par hameshgi ikhtiyaar ki aur 8 rakat Ramzan wa Gair e Ramzan ki raat mein padhna Sahih hadith se sabit hai. Is se ye samajhna galat hai ki Allama Tahtawi ne 8 rakat taraweeh ko Sunnat e Mutawarisa qaraar diya hai. Balki Tahtawi ne ye likha hai ki Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنهne 20 rakat Ba-jamat ko raaij kiya aur Sahaba ne us par amal kiya aur Huzoor ﷺ ka farmaan hai ki “Tum Meri aur Khulafa e Rashideen ki Sunnat ko laazim pakdo”. Is se sabit huwa ki Daur e Farooqui se le kar Aaj tak Jumhoor Ummat ka amal 20 rakat taraweeh par hai na ki 8 rakat par. Hashiya Al Tahtawi ke alfaaz ye hai: وصلا ھا عمر ھزھ عشرين ووافقھ الصحابۃ علی زالک TARJAMA: Hazrat Umar رضي الله تعالى عنهne Taraweeh ki 20 rakat padhi aur is amal mein Sahaba ne unki moawafiqat ki.
